Interesting things

This week's heavy rotation list:

-Frankenstein by Mary Shelley
-Apple-raspberry pie
-Modest Mouse's most recent album, We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank
-Season 3 of Friends
-Strawberry candles
-Literary essays from Lit 12

I don't feel the need to elaborate upon any of these items because I think they speak for themselves, but I do think that if you aren't reading a book, if you haven't baked in some time, if you need some new music, if your television is lonely, if your house is smelly, or if you need a good laugh, invest your rainy evenings in the things I invest my rainy evenings in. That way, you'll love the weather that you used to hate.

Grey's

Grey's is back on (!!!) and it was super good - as always, there were lots of great quotes, but I liked this one best: "You were in a lion fight. Just because you didn't win doesn't mean you don't know how to roar." I don't really know what it is about it, maybe I equate 'lion fight' with 'life,' but it made me feel a lot better than I have in weeks.

Christopher Walken on SNL

I find it strange the way the ups and downs of my life are matched by the weather - it's so Shakespearean it scares me.

In other news, I really don't have any news. If anybody watched SNL this weekend I'm sure you love Christopher Walken almost as much as I love Christopher Walken.

Here are some highlights:

Indoor Gardening Tips from a Man Who's Very Scared of Plants
Walken Family Reunion
Suprise Party

In regards to the last clip, Kristen Wiig is probably the most talented girl on the show right now.
